近几年以“小”开头的电视剧不少，还都特别火，例如《小别离》、《小欢喜》、还有如今的《小舍得》，这一类型的电视剧主要讲述了三代人之间，关于孩子教育问题的分歧，与现在的社会现实紧密结合，所以很容易引起观众的共鸣！
《小欢喜》、《小别离》都是汪俊导演，黄磊、海清领衔主演的。但到了《小舍得》无论是导演，还是演员都算是大换血！这部剧的导演是张晓波！
张晓波也很擅长执导都市情感剧，例如《大男当婚》、《好先生》以及去年很火的《三十而已》都是他执导的！他与汪俊的执导风格有一些相似，就是在揭露现实的同时，会带有一些轻喜剧色彩，最后都会给一个还算完美的结局，非常会迎合观众！
《小舍得》没有黄磊、海清主演，很多观众都觉得不习惯！不过，这次《小舍得》黄磊也有参与，他担任此剧的艺术总监，与主演作用一样重要！艺术总监也算是半个编剧。《小别离》、《小欢喜》黄磊也都有参与写剧本，所以可以猜测，这三部剧风格会很相似！
《小舍得》这部剧主要讲述了两个家庭、两个孩子“小升初”阶段中的家庭故事。有争吵、有温暖，和我们千千万万个家庭一样！这部剧没有黄磊、海清，但有宋佳、佟大为、蒋欣、李佳航，他们四位除蒋欣之外，都有孩子，所以对于角色的诠释应该不会差，对于近期剧荒的观众而言，可以追一下！
